P E R S O N A L I T Y :

Delicate : Minami is naturally gentle-hearted, well, most of the time anyway. Not the times when she is struck with jealousy. She breaks easily mentally and has a frail physique as in she doesn't take pain very well. Even a paper-cut can almost bring her to tears. Having her other ear pierced is a big challenge for her. Minami doesn't handle stress very well either. Not as averagely as other's may do.
Elegant : Graceful in appearance and movement. Literally struts in elegance and speaks with flair. Acts in a passive-aggressively manner.
Hardworking : When she wants to Minami can focus and work hard to achieve her goals. Tends to go by with a lax attitude.
Dignified : She has a good sense of self-respect and will absolutely reject having to stoop lower than she deserves. Same thing goes for people she cares for. Seeing others not respecting their own worth she gets furious and will most likely annoy you so much till she has talked some sense into you.
Loyal : Nonetheless she is good friend material and very trustworthy once she likes you as an individual. You can always rely on her but in all honesty she would be the one more dependent on you. 
Possessive : Semi-extremely possessive of her brother Akai whom she is pretty close with. She doesn't like it when Akai gives his attention to other people while she is around in the vicinity. 
Jealous : Minami is the type of person that easily gets jealous. Be it about Akai, be it about having talents. Oh yes, when someone is good at sports she will be green with jealousy. When you're taller than her, she will be jealous. 
Transparent : Her emotions are always visible on her face for everyone to see. Even when she doesn't want to show them she does a bad job at hiding them. 



B I O :

Minami was born to a single-mom who was a very loving and energetic kind of person. At the age of four Minami's mom was diagnosed with an early onset of Alzheimer's. Having no one else she could ask she decided to ask her best friend that when the time came if she could look after her daughter in her stead. Accepting this request, it was two years later when the Alzheimer dramatically progressed. Adopted by her mom's best friend at the age of six, Minami also gained herself a brother.

At first Minami was really shy and shut off coming into her new family. Being in an unfamiliar situation with strangers was quite frightening for her. It was thanks to Akai that she started to warm up. Growing up she never felt lonely due to being adopted. She adjusted well knowing that she's been adopted and her mom having Alzheimer's. She still frequently visits her mom although her mom hardly recognizes her.

Visiting her mother who has fallen ill with Alzheimer's she hears a lot of stories about her mother. She would always feel as if she never missed a thing about her biological mother. Together they would experience these memories her mother has. Stories from when her mom was a teenager, went to college, even stories about her father and how they separated.

Minami's biological mother was having an affair with a married man. It was a little disappointing to hear but in the end she knew that it doesn't even matter as long as your happy, even if it's just for a little while. Whenever her mother spoke about her father she would always look so genuinely happy. She would hear that it was one of the best times of her life. All good things come to an end and so the married man returned to his wife and they never contacted each other again.

Having her brother Akai around helped her a lot to deal with these hardships. So much that she doesn't even consider them hardships. She considers her adopted parents just like her own parents, never missing out on having a family at all. She'll say that she has two moms, one father and one brother.

Minami grew up to be really fond of Akai. So much that she tends to get childishly possessive of him when others get a little bit too close to him. It's just that Akai has always been there for her and taken care of her. They always played together and he could always cheer her up, make her laugh and such that she fears losing him. However, she does know that that day will come. The day he finds someone he loves besides her, someone that could make him lose his breath. That is the day she will have to let him go. But until then she will enjoy whatever time she has with her dear brother.

Kurosu Akai - Brother by adoption since she was six years old. Very fond of him and get's jealous when he doesn't pay attention to her.
Kanzaki Leo - She likes him very much. They both confessed to each other and agreed to start dating. He is now her precious Leo-kun.
